hat began as a two-person company more than 50 years ago with its first client the famous Lawry's The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills has grown to encompass several states and hundreds of locations. Chairman of the board Herbert Citrin, founded the company in 1946 when he was fresh out of the Navy and looking for a job.  Having worked for his father in a small parking concession prior to joining the Navy, he used his knowledge to create Valet Parking Service, one of the largest and most successful parking companies in the country.  Today, Mr. Citrin is still at the helm and, we are proud to say, Lawry's is still one of our finest accounts.

     Through the years Valet Parking Service has pioneered advances in computerized revenue control systems and safety measures that are emulated throughout the industry.  However, these are only part of the firm's success. The most important ingredient is the people, many of whom have been with the company for over twenty-five years.

     From the Chairman on down, our formula for success is based on one underlying principle: We recognize that the parking experience forms the first and last impression your customers have with your establishment. Our business has grown because we don't think of ourselves as an accessory  to an establishment, but rather as a parking department which is part of your team.
